Polling strong at around 20%.

They are led by a former Goldman Sachs executive who is lesbian and lives with a Sri Lankan woman half the time in Switzerland and wants to pull them out of NATO…

You just can’t make this stuff up any more.

Europe can be real flexible about some things from an American perspective. Kemi leading the Tories would likely never happen here, even for a super c00n Black woman. Likewise, the assassinated Dutch right politician Pim Fortuyn from back in the day was openly gay and a guy from the Netherlands said that once on a Dutch talk show he discussed how he could tell what his partner ate by how his semen tasted :scust: Likewise there were some DL rumors surrounding Jorg Haider in Austria before his death.

Europeans seem to accept nuance in their politicians as long as the order isn't challenged. Weren't some African legislators married to White women heading the French Assembly at the height of colonialism?

There probably is some more nuance over here for the way the countries and the political systems are set up but the extreme-right has often had a handful of guys who would qualify as "diverse" in their ranks. The one thing about a lot of their leaders is that they are clever and tactical, so in those cases they understand that the person is still more of an advantage than a liability, so they let the other stuff slide. They still oppose it on the societal level, but can be (not always obviously) more lax in regards to individuals. When you think about it, there's no real reason that gays couldn't be conservative on a variety of issues. It's a cliché to think that all gay people are "naturally" on the left. They can be on LGBQT issues and not on others. Extreme-right has understood that which is why they instrumentalize those issues against foreigners.
