20th anniversary so hopefully this means an album by the end of the year, I know Phonte is also working on Darien Brockington's next project, after how fire Sy Smith and BeMyFiasco's albums were he's been killing exec producing the R&B projects
Wow you right :ohhh: . I still remember when this album dropped. I still have the CD and everything. Man that Connected album spoke to me back then. A brother was going through and it and that album helped me so much. Could never thank Te and Nicolay enough for the peace Connected brought me.

I really like singing FE, but I want more rapping FE so I'm happy this 1st song is barred up

Breh you already know FE an R&B/Alt group at this point lol. But I’ll never be mad hearing bars from my favorite MC

My favorite FE memory is how pissed people on The Lawn (JL message board) were when LIAB came out and it was R&B :russ:

100%

I guess I should have said since this is all about the 20th anniversary, it would be good if they dropped stuff that sounded more like the 1st album, which The Grey actually does.

Then they can go back alt-R&B. Like I said, I actually like that.

But a "sequel" to Connected of some sorts would be a pleasant surprise

I remember this. Boys were pissed. I also remember when people thought Darien Brockington and Phonte were the same person :russ:

Not gonna lie I was one of the pissed off ones until the sampler dropped and I was totally blown away. Couldn't wait for the rip and opportunity to buy the album. I think I bought my copy directly from them or through Underround.hiphop.com and it came with a poster of the album cover. I'm sure I still have it somewhere.

Lil Wayne being on Getback already had some of the purists pissed. So the Leave It All Behind was icing on the cake

I think I bought the CD from Best Buy

Zo! & Tall Black Guy bodied the Sy Smith album too if ya'll slept on that release earlier this year

I've been a big fan of Zo! from before I was even old enough to even really appreciate the grown man, laid back lounge production he was doing on his Just Visiting projects.
