Chapel Hill NC - In a bold move that’s sure to change the face of shopping forever, the Walmart in Chapel Hill has announced it will be building a fully operational Waffle House smack dab in the middle of the store.
Now, customers can pause from their quest for bargain-priced bulk toilet paper and indulge in a 24-hour breakfast experience.
“This partnership is the best thing since sliced bread—well, sliced bread smothered in butter and served with eggs and hash browns scattered smothered and covered,” said store manager Pat Littleton. “Why walk all the way to the frozen food aisle when you can get a fresh stack of waffles instead?”
The Waffle House will be strategically placed between electronics and home décor, allowing shoppers to seamlessly transition from browsing flat screens to ordering an "All-Star Special" at any hour of the day.
Walmart regulars are thrilled. “I’ve always said my two favorite things are endless shopping and a healthy, delicious breakfast,” said local shopper Becky Jordan. “Now I don’t have to choose!”
Grand opening date is Black Friday this year, but locals are already salivating and it will be a great place for forlorn Tarheel fans to drown their abysmal losing season sorrows.
