seems like netflix is removing more content than it actually adds these days :picard:

and the stuff it does add is usually netlfix original content, which is very hit-or-miss :patrice:

not a ton of licensed movies & tv shows now compared to it's glory days :mjcry:

 What are you talking about? Last I check they're still a leading app globally breh...

And whatever you think about the OG content they had to throw money at making their own stuff and branch out. Look at all the streaming services now that's a big reason why they're not pressed on copping licensed media.

They clapped their entire Marvel line up because they would have been feeding Disney+.

Developing their own original line up ensures that other competiting services cannot poach content from them. It's a win-win.

Most of their original programming is average or better than average (stuff I've seen), their strategy is sound and seems to be working out.

Army of the Dead was good.
Finding Ohana was ok.
Malcolm and Marie was good.
Yes Day was good family entertainment.
Mitchell's vs Machines was good.
I Care Alot was good.

I'd rather watch original programming than to rehash my oldies. That's what torrents, DVDs and blu-rays are for imho.
