I think Liam and the wolf were both mortally wounded. Just seemed liked there wasn't a clear victor. Liam just laying on the heavy breathing but barely living wolf as if they both waited for the end :yeshrug:

Liam got up, the wolf did not.

:wtf: Yall watched the directors cut, mine just faded to black and went to the credits?

I thought that the after credits ending was unnecessary and seemed like some shyt the studio wanted tacked on just in case there was a chance for a sequel.

the previews/trailers completely spoiled the whole movie in my opinion

to show the actual ending in the previews really pissed me off

i was waiting the whole movie to see him square off against the alpha dog and they cut it out there

think about how many good movies would be ruined if they showed a scene from the last minute of the movie, then ended it almost immediately following that scene

in my mind, i bookmarked the movie at that spot

for the reasons i listed above, this movie is the exact reason that i completely avoid previews and trailers whenever possible. i prefer going into the experience blind, as opposed to knowing what happens in the last 5 minutes of the movie thanks to studios throwing everyhting out there from the get go

I liked this movie, aside from some bad, cliched, dialogue, and bad CGI. I don't know about dude going man to man with a fukking wolf though, that was a little much. Even if he lived, he died. Middle of the woods, no food, no water, probably bleeding...this isn't 'Hatchet', dude would be frozen and dead in the Alaskan wilderness.
