Classic and criminally underseen film...Criterion needs to revisit this to add some color to their lineup asap
My homie got this when we were in college and couldn't wait for me to watch it. Son was obsessed. Good flick though, definitely very under seen and deserves more love than it gets. Rappers have an obsession with this movie too yet Scarface is the one that gets all the spotlight

Scarface has the bullshyt capitalist "rags to riches" story that drives individualism and exploitation that rappers latch onto...Sonny Carson was alot deeper and richer than Scarface because it was a hard look at the effects of capitalist exploitation in America
That and Scarface has Al Pacino so it's easier for that to get notoriety and become a "landmark" film due to star power

I remember my first time listening to Iron Man and hearing this kid give ZERO fukks about the obviously older teenagers threatening him. I was obsessed with that finding that movie and when I finally did shyt had me like 
Ohhh Girl Girl Girl...that Leon Ware song was piff !
