There was a lot of carbon in the atmosphere during the jurassic period. Global warming wont hurt the earth, but it will hurt humanity. The only thing that hurts the earth are human beings and rocks from outer space.

Hmm, a House of Lords member with no credentials in climate science (he's a zoologist by training) doing pop science funded by a free market think tank. No offense, but this is as "coopted" as it gets. There are also a bunch of flaws and misleading elements in his argument, but I don't have time to write them down right now.
One of the biggest tricks used by corporations today is convincing people that environmentalism is the "coopted," "elite" position. Environmentalists were and still are losing.

what are you talking about?
"climate change" is CLEARLY a concerted effort by scientists across many fields of study, government officials on the wrong side of energy policy, green companies, environmental groups, the nefarious "elite" secret societies etc. to deceive the public into...ummm...uhh...they're doing it to ummmm...scare everybody and make them want...stuff...you know, bad stuff...like uh...prius' and polar ice caps and solar panels and forests and captain planet and shyt.
on the opposite side of the spectrum, the oil companies and fossil fuel industries are completely void of any influence from those evil "elites" and happily invite their green competitors to come take a bite out of their hundreds of billions of dollars in profits a year. sure, they spend a few bucks for studies disproving "climate change", but that's only because they're concerned with facts, which are being drowned out by the world-wide, all-emcompassing "global warming" false-flag conspiracy.
the dirty truth is, the whole "green" and "clean" movement is the most polluted part of this world. it's human's crying wolf for gaia, trying to frighten you sheep into emptying your pocket book into the coffers of those in the standing in the shadows...of freshly planted trees.
WAKE UP.
At first glance, my scientific background tells me that this actually makes sense. More carbon dioxide in the atmosphere means more plant metabolic activity. In turn with the added humidity and warmer temps, this is a plants dream. But as the poster above me said...whats good for them isnt necessarily good for us. But then again I didnt watch that video. I dont got 19 minutes like that
