Plus your "five star match" guys used to be VERY limited. Back in the day if it didnt have bret or savage or hbk, hart (either), then that shyt was 4 at best.

Now if pressured to..almost ANY 2 OF punk..bryan...cena (mitb 11), taker, brock, y2j, sheamus, adr, rko, kofi (if its a stipulation match), wade, big show (he has done it so stfu), cesarro, and others could EASILY put up 4.5 and 5 if its on a big stage. Outside of wcw 97 idk if weve ever been able to say this

Big Show has NEVER had one bad heel run. And that tweener run with him and Kane crushing all opposition was good too. He played his part as the silent partner for Jericho and Miz. It's when they turn him face they have to make him a goofball but I guess that's because he has actual personality so they exploit it for comedic purposes. But just like Kane, no matter how much they job him out he can be built up in an instant. When he's motivated he'll put in work. He was broken down as fukk carrying ECW before he took time off.

Yeah but let's not push 'em out the door just yet. They won't be around forever, but it ain't like they'll be retiring in 2 years either. The younger ones who deserve it are gettin' pushed... I can't think of anyone except Ryder and Kidd who should REALLY be given a shot to do something but isn't being used at a decent capacity at the moment. Hell, even Drew McIntyre's finally doing something that at least gets a crowd reaction

Also, I'd say the road is more open for a younger/newer guy now than it was like 5 years ago. Most of the top guys from '08-'09 are gone and not too many people have taken those spots yet.
