There's a lot of truth in there, really the only thing DC got on Marvel in recent times was when they rebooted the entire universe, something that Marvel aimlessly tried to cash in on with random stuff like Marvel Now and All-New. When it comes to everything else DC is such a conservative company it's almost painful to look at.

So from an outsider's perspective, the only thing DC can truly claim they're "beating" Marvel at is Animated movies

DC's Animated Universe is so much better. I don't watch Marvel's animated movies anymore. Pure trash.
