Prelude: I'm sick of cats calling everything classics up in here. When we use this term, we're usually referring to the finest quality of works which we would consider as monumental in the genre. This is usually a list of, say 30-50 albums at most which you would recommend for new heads to pick up if you were to introduce them to the genre. Yes there's 'cult classics', 'underground classics', 'regional classics' or whatever but we aint about that ish in here.

So this is what we gona do: each poster list 20 albums which you perceive as 'classic'. Each album mentioned gets a point, which i will add up here in the first post from time to time. So the order which you list them out will not be important, but if you post more than 20 albums, i'll only tally the first 20 you mention. Only those with more than 2 votes will be listed.

Hopefully we'll end up with a list of around 30-50 albums in the genre, and next time when some of ya'll use the C word again, think about whether that album even matches up to any in this list.

Peace
