Real talk..who cares

Everyday it’s a new anniversary for an album that nobody cares about

Chance the rapper has a 10 year anniversary for “acid rap” tomorrow at Barclays center

Only like 50% of the tickets have sold so far:mjlol: I actually like the project, but nikkas don’t care like that, especially in nyc

I saw on YouTube earl sweatshirt had some “Doris 10 year concert”… why is that important? :dead:

nikkas need to just remaster their album, release it on DSP’s…add an unreleased song or 2 that was recorded around the time as the project and call it a day. These projects ain’t as impactful as you think

Everyone’s got an opinion about shyt they don’t care about these days. It’s weird

This.

Literally, someone will post a thread about new music dropping and you'll get posters who don't like the artists involved posting how much they don't like the artists. Like why? Clearly, they aren't fans and it's not even like they are even critiquing the music. They'll post why they never liked the artist to begin with. Nobody asked.

I actually disagree and would argue Acid Rap was the type of seminal project that deserves an anniversary recognition. The problem is that Chance tanked his career to such a degree that nothing he does can fix it. It's over for him. That doesn't change the fact that the project was great and had impact.

Every fanbase has albums they hail as important and take note of anniversaries. However the list of albums the genre collectively hails is much smaller. Take Care deserves anniversary recognition. GKMC deserves it. FHD deserves it. DS2 deserves it. On the underground level there's Marcberg, Covert Coup, and XXX. All those albums came out within the last 10-15 years.

Quoted for emphasis. It’s killing this board and driving people away.
You could post about giving away free ice cream on a hot day and you’ll have 10 people weighing in on how wack ice cream is or takers or Neopolitan supporting the “agenda” or whatever other imagined grievance exists in their miserable world. Hahaha
