This flick and "Mona Lisa" starring Bob Hoskins are the unsung crime joints whenever those discussions take place. Michael Gambon portrays one of the all time great villains in Albert Spica and I truly believe that he had some influence on James Gandolfini in The Sopranos. Also very comparable to Donald Trump.

The composition is fantastic, every scene is practically a painting and has one of the all time great endings. I believe it's currently streaming on Prime.

Wow thanks I totally forgot that I’ve been meaning to check this out. First heard of this film a few years back when ari aster couldn’t stop singing it’s praise but totally forgot about it. Going to try and knock it out in the next couple of days at some point.
