They would have made noise cuz they were gonna drop at the height of biggies fame. So that alone would have got them multi platinum. Hov was probably destined to blow up anyways. And Charlie could have road both of their coattails to at least one platinum solo album.

From what I remember that was Irv's idea because he had a hand in putting them all on. Collectively they never really wanted to do it.

Makes sense since they were all selling mad records as solo artist at the time.

Ego's... Its hard to bring 3 top tier artists and mold them into one group, one will always have to play second fiddle to the other, and one will have to be the third wheel. Just can't happen


The Commission would have bolstered Jay into stardom earlier, though we probably wouldn't have gotten most of the material we have now (less Biggie biting since he woulda been living).
