After 3 long weeks, the time has finally come. We have 16 different entries from 16 different Coli posters that are either emcees or producers. Due to the amount of participants, I had to split it up.

Therefore I've created 2 brackets/threads that will feature 8 artists and their songs The poster with the highest votes in bracket A and bracket B will face off against each other in a winner takes all FINAL ROUND (where both will duke it out in a new thread)

As of now, there's no prizes involved, but if the artists or cool with it....The 3 songs with the most votes in each bracket can be made into an EP that we can release on Coli records:takedat: (or something to that effect)

Help us find out, who dropped the Hardest street banger.

When voting, please keep in mind the following.....
1. production- how hard is that beat.
2. flow- is the emcee flowing well and meshing with the beat
3. lyrics- is the emcee going in or spitting struggle bars
4. creativity- what stands out in a good way that's different
5. potential- if promoted right and given a chance, could the song blow/make noise.

@DrHackenbush came through with the beat and the song is very good imo. shyt maybe in the other bracket he would have been number 1. Tough decision for me in that the beat is good, the verse is good and its just overall really good, but when it came down to hardest street banger @clanarchy came through with a heater.

My thoughts on the songs posted.

boydangerous
beat was dope as fukk and truly stood out. Definitely had the hard street banger vibe on some grimy 90's eastcoast shyt. The verses were cool. They flowed well with the beat. No bars or flows really stood out, but shyt was still cool. Could be more aggressive, but it still came off really dope.

beat was dope on some chill shyt. This had that 90's eastcoast vibe again. The emcees were nice and fit the track's vibe. Got that mobb deep feel to it. Track is really dope, but I don't get that Hard street banger vibe from it. It makes for a great album cut though. The beat and the flows needed to be harder for it to be a real hard street banger

Fruitofthevale
didn't really feel the beat on this one. Don't really think its hard or aggressive enough to be a real hard street banger. The flow and delivery was unique and that's what really stood out the most about the track. I think it would have worked better on harder production. As it is the song is cool on it's own. Not really my style, but the emceeing was on point. The production just lacked that extra punch to really make it a banger.

beat is dope and the emcee went in on this shyt. the only thing is the track comes off more as a summer time club/lounge type joint more than a hard street banger. the emcee had personality and fit the production real well. track is dope no doubt, but just not hard enough for a street banger

clanarchy
beat is dope with a nice sample that's flipped in a chaotic type way. production is definitely hard on this one and that street banger vibe is mad present. Both emcees flowed well and did they thing. good transition on the beat between the verses. Track works well as an album cut or hard street banger.

beat is hard and fit the song and the mood of the track. good intro with the audio sample. Beat didn't really stand out as mad dope or anything, it was cool and fit the track so it worked. The emcees were cool. Nice flows and lyrics overall, but the trap and hustle part that was repeated for like 10 seconds was just lazy emceeing to me. Kinda hurt the flow of the song cuz it went on too long.
nice outro too with the audio sample again. The chorus was catchy and gives the song potential. It has that street banger vibe, wouldn't say the track was all that aggressive, but its a banger

DavidBlakefan
beat was dope as fukk. great use of the sample,makes for a great album cut or summer time chill joint. chorus was nice and catchy. none of the emcees stood out lyrically or flow wise, the 1st one had a dope voice though. listening to it again, the beat and chorus really save this song. really enjoyed the track, but I wouldn't say it's a hard street banger though.

Overall with this bracket, I felt like their were some really dope songs, but not really hard street bangers. It's crazy how some of the production meshed with the others because the songs from
boydangerous, drhackenbush, clanarchy, and davidblakefan could really all be on the same album. Those tracks had similar production vibes even if some weren't that aggressive.

I enjoyed listening to all of the songs.
