I'm afraid we're looking at it through our brokeboy lense.
Families making over $60K don't qualify for Pell Grants and what not. So, unless there's some other academic or other scholarship, they're screwed for the most part.

I dont want a more direct democratic anything at the federal level. I was just posing a counter argument to move the conversation.
