If you were at the Japanese spot buying JDM car mags and into Bippu/VIP culture, you'd know it. It's the upmarket version of the Lexus LS, but Japan only. They wasn't pushing these exact joints in the back, unless they were importing bumpers/body kits.
You can get one for mad cheap these days.

They never sold the Crown in the US. We got the Avalon instead I think.

Clout chasers don't seem to realize that 80s and 90s foreign are the best, especially BMW, Audi, Mercedes. A lot today's luxury cars are basically strip club interiors
