I said it here last week, protecting Africa's natural biodiversity shouldn't be to far off the agenda of making sure the humans are living quality/high standards of living too.

Second thing is, what do Asians think about this? Not saying all Asians. Those cultures say its ok to use "traditional medicine", using things like ivory or shark fins. What do they expect to do when the animals are extinct and they don't even have ivory, etc to get anymore? They would destroy it and not have any.

Its an example of globalization and how your local culture is impacting a place thousands of miles away.

Long story short, protect these species.
