Probably has to do with the western lifestyle. When you live in the west and material things such as money, fame/attention are at the forefront of success; no matter how well you raise your kids they could be subject to committing undesirable behaviours.

This is especially true in the internet age where people are putting more effort into their internet personas then their actual ones.

Strict parents make rebellious kids. Kid reaches a certain age realizes the psrrnt has no real power and goes crazy.

Doesn't mean shoes gonna be thotting it up. I knew a lot of rebellious girls in high school they weren't all thots.
