“LADIES, THIS IS OUR PROBLEM…….they are all siting there actually telling us how they think and we aren’t even listening. Instead we are trying to persuade them to see the world the way we want them too. This is how they are for good or for ill."

I found this point interesting. Many women I talk to take their understanding and view of the world as woman and try to unilaterally apply that world view when trying to interpret the actions of men. This narcissism and lack of empathy stands in the way of most women having even a general understanding of men.

So next time you catch a guy looking at an attractive woman and he tells you that he can’t help but look, take it at face value. The guy is trying to tell you what his experience of reality is as a guy. He trying is explaining that when a hot girl walks by, he is compelled, perhaps even on a biological level, to look. This is the same force women tap into when they purposely wear clothing with the intention of causing men to take notice of them. If you listened, he’d tell you that looking doesn’t usually even have any baring on you at all, he was just looking because he couldn’t ignore it (I’ll visit this topic some other time, I promise).

Ladies may not have the same kind of impulses or think in the same way men do but listening and trying to see things through a man’s eyes is the right turn onto the path of true understanding…..
