Where did you go on your last date? These days people aren't really going out anymore. It's just "wanna come over and chill?" "yeah"

I've been kind of on that myself and I can't keep doing that shyt. Right now its winter so there isn't really a whole lot to do outside. I like soaking up the atmosphere outside. Going on walks and such.

The last real date I went on was last year, we went to a Tribeca Film Festival premiere and then McDonalds. One of my favourite dates lool.

this is gonna sound a little "left" but this girl i know said that she went on her first date with this guy and it was a march/protest. one of those Occupy your city protests. it actually turned violent, etc. she said she had a great time. at first i thought it was stupid but then i thought about it like

Pretty routine, but living social and groupon are good ways to mix it up

if shes from a humble upbringing take her to one of those nice upscale places with a wine list and a bathroom attendant

If shes from money take her to the hood spot they serve good hot wings through bulletproof glass

I dont even like golf, but that joint looks tight, they need to have a basketball or baseball version of that here where I live.

I don't like chicks I hardly or just met knowing where I live so I just keep the first date simple, someplace where I spend less than $50, maybe a couple drinks or so it really just depends

Besides concerts/city events and festivals, some good ideas may be:
- Walking through the museum district showcases together, with a picnic later.
- Wine tasting events or pub crawls.
- If you are passionate about a particular topic, see if an author on that topic is doing a book reading somewhere in the city.
- Many larger cities have Japanese Tea Gardens with a tea ceremony.
- Working out outdoors together (especially in this beautiful Texas weather right now).
- If you live near a body of water, you can rent waverunners for an hour or two and have driving it together. With large lakes, you can sneak off to a deserted beachy area and do your thang.
-Take a weekend digital photography class together, and then practice with each other.
- Take a rock-wall climbing class together (not fun for prissy girls)

My dude and I like to have a theme each season. For example, one Spring, we decided on crawfish boil tasting. Each weekend, we used Yelp to find a different crawfish spot and hit it up and then rate it against the others. The next season we did Dim Sum spots and for this season, we cooked a different flavor of wings and made it a ritual each time the Texans played.

My company did an outing at Top Golf. very fun spot. Winter is over in less than a month, but in the winter you could've done some ice skating at the local rink. that probably costs $10 tops. go see a comedy show for cheap by local cats who may not have blown up yet. go take a salsa dancing class with your lady or date.
