“Yeah, [if] memory serves me correctly, this set up the mainevent for WrestleMania, even though I won the damn thing and if you win The Royal Rumble – you go to the mainevent of WrestleMania – this [Roman Reigns vs The Undertaker] was the mainevent of WrestleMania. So I remember that.”

Later in the video Orton re-lives his celebration after eliminating Reigns from the rumble to win the match, and explains how he was still placed behind Reigns on the match card for WrestleMania.

That shytty match had no business being a WrestleMania match, much less the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania, much less the main event of WrestleMania.

I always thought they should modify the Rumble stipulation so they make it clear that the winner gets a championship match at WrestleMania, not necessarily the main event. From 2006 to 2013, only two Rumble winners were in the main event. They only had the Rumble winner start closing the show again because of the brand extension ending and having one world title. Then last year, the Rumble winner goes right back to not main eventing.
