For me, it comes down to either Steamboat or Bret Hart. Both were so smooth in the ring, but I'm interested to see what other people's opinions are on the topic. It's hard to find better technical wrestlers in history than these two.

I've said this before, to be honest, "technical wrestler" doesn't really mean anything :pachaha: the concept is way more broad than high flyer, brawler, or hardcore. So what you base your opinion on who is the best at it depends on how you categorize technical wrestling.

For example, I have no clue why Bret Hart or Steamboat could be categorized as "technical" when most of their careers they weren't mat based wrestlers. Same with a guy like Flair.

The man who was most convincing to let their opponent put them in holds :mjlol:

In all "seriousness" I'd have to go with Bret Hart. Dude called some great matches, didn't hurt anyone, didn't really get hurt until he got kicked in the head. To be a "technical" wrestler (at least what I think people mean) it's gotta be mostly based on the ability to put people into moves and keep them safe, and stay safe yourself.

Eliminates D Bry for me
Steamboat was great but not as good as Bret
Malenko would be #2 on my list of people I watched :yeshrug:
