Hypothetically speaking...

I the athelte playing, for a school that barely qualifies as a Division III school with a student body enrollment hovering just over 4,000 , must suffer not only the embarrasment but physical torture of playing Division 1-A schools (OSU, Fla St.) back to back...for the reason being my "school is broke" and could despretly use the six figure checks that both games bring in.. :beli:

but the fukked up thing about the whole situation is due to primitive NCAA "ethical standards" my poor collegiate ass won't see one red cent of that bread ($$$) :shaq2:

even Savannah State alumnus NFL hall of famer Shannon Sharpe agrees to some extent......and hell he should considering alumni had him chilling up at a luxury townhouse in a gated community during his "academic years" at SSU.........

"Ssu Wildcats should have gotten 1 million a game for that shallacking".... - Shannon Sharpe

Savannah State grad Shannon Sharpe: Pummeling the Wildcats have taken worth $1 million a game - The Washington Post

it's really some PIMP HOE shyt going on with these games.....these young collegiate students are getting thier ass kicked by faster, bigger athletes for the benfit of the school budget, but none of this "stimulus money" trickles down to the student

and that money from that one game helps fund their entire athletic program. how much do you think the powerhouse program of savanah st can pay players on top of everything, while also playing every other athlete at the school?

If you pay college FB STUDENT-athletes, how do you deal with paying every other STUDENT-athlete? Where does the money to pay the FB STUDENT-athletes come from? How about amateurism issues?

Thank you. Like with this $2,000 miscellaneous expense allowance the NCAA passed, then was overidden and is now still up for discussion again...just paying these student-athletes will only work for the few elite programs with the biggest budgets. The Savannah States, and other schools in non -AQ conferences simply can't afford to do that which means the elite programs widen the gap between the haves and have not even further than it already is. And again, how do you pay track, baseball, volleyball, golf student-athletes?
