Electric Circus was hated on by damn near everybody but i always liked several songs off the album and one of them is Star*69.


Bilal on the hook, Dilla on the drums, James Poyser on keyboards, and the late/great "purple one" (PRINCE) on the keyboards and guitar

Saw him perform this album live with Kareem Riggins on the drums.

One of the best shows I been too. I also didn't love the experimental nature of the shyt it was almost overtly ornate but there's gems on here. But the failure and negative reception or this album ended the soulquarian production era.
