100 years of Iranian beauty

1910

Women in Iran kept it natural. Only married women would do any kind of facial hair removal and some women would actually fill in their unibrow with eyeliner.
1920

Iran saw the first female students at the University of Tehran, and this new independence can be seen in the style that emerged.
1930

The King changed the name of the country from Persia to Iran and outlawed the hijab. Women who felt uncomfortable with their hair on display, or religious women, would instead wear hats to hide their hair.
1940

Women looked up to actresses of the time.
1950

All about volume and big eyes

BAM. The revolution of 1979 and the hijab is mandatory again.
1990

You got it very wrong, doggsie.

I got incredibly enchanted with those girls and it reminded me - how many of those ladies shall I see in my life? And the photographer saw it in couple of years at best.

So it reminded me about what it means to live along and live to the fullest. Nothing more. It's all good in the neighborhood.
