Everyone agrees some order of McCoy/Peterson/Charles/Forte/Lacy are the top 5 RBs heading into fantasy football drafts this season. The tough part is figuring out how to rank that second tier. Curious to see who y'all think should be the next five RBs off the board after those guys.

Right now, I think I have 'em ranked:

Lynch :obama:
Murray :patrice:
Ball :lupe:
Foster :why:
Gerhart :yeshrug:

I ain't taking Murray no matter what

He has missed games every year since starting out in college

Rankings: lynch, Ball, Murray, gio, foster

If it's a PPR ball and gio go up

Word in Dallas is they may try to work in Randle and Dunbar more to ease the load on Murray, which sounds bad but could actually help him stay healthy. I get the concern with him though...he's the Darren McFadden of the NFC.

Worried about Gio getting pulled from goalline duty (only reason I bumped Foster and Gerhart ahead of him). Cincy's offense should commit to the run though, so he's got that working for him.

Bengals are not going vertical with Dalton anymore...They want to run the football more with Gio and work the intermediate routes which makes Gio a PPR monster this year...The goaline vulture concern is real but Gio in space can easily take a 5 yard dump pass and turn it into a 60 yard TD...If they keep feeding him he is bound to find pay dirt with his elusive skillset...He is going to have double digit TD's easy this year (had 8 last year with limited work)...

That said...

PPR go with Gio...Standard go with Lynch...

I think Alfred Morris is going to have a good season tbh

Or at least I hope so since I drafted him :lupe:

On paper Washington have a high powered offence

If RGIII can stay healthy. He's been off the whole preseason. I just wish Alf knew how to catch a pass...no clue how a professional football player is so bad at catching a football :snoop:

They been saying all offseason they want to run the ball more and that's exactly what they been doing so far in the pre-season with Gio getting the majority snaps with the first team...

Gio had 170 carries last year and 1200 all purpose yards (56 receptions) with 8 TD's...If he gets around 250-270 carries which is what everyone expects this dude is going to put up RB1 numbers in both formats...You're looking at 1400-1500 all purpose yards and anywhere from 10-15 TD's...I'll be busting out the come up shuffle if Gio is there in the second round for me (20th pick)...

Even with his size Gio is still a very good GL back. I know they drafted Hill but I still see Gio getting a good amount of GL carries
