Khalil Mack said he’s coming back - that would be a great fit

and I know most of y’all Raven’s fans will probably disagree but if I was Eric DeCosta, I would trade this year’s first round pick for Sauce Gardner (mind you it’s a weak draft the experts are saying)

I just would like to see a defensive backfield of Hamilton and Humphries in the middle & Nate and Sauce at the ends

* the combination of speed, athleticism and height 6’0” | 6’1”| 6’3” | 6’4” would be the best defensive backfield since LOB*
I wouldn't do it due to the fact that it would take more than just a first round pick and he's going to be due for a new contract soon. I don't even think we need to invest heavily in that position. The focus should be on the oline. Way too inconsistent and way too many penalties this season.

Why would the Jets trade a 24 year old 2x All Pro on his rookie deal?

fukk no

we already have way too many big contracts and high draft picks on defense

If we’re gonna trade high picks for a defensive player it better be a pass rusher not a corner

trading a 1st for a player you then have to give a 100 million contract to isn’t a smart move

I wouldn’t mind Mack since he wont cost that much but im done with this team spending big money on defense only for them to not make any plays when we need them

exactly

let the young guys like Jaylon Armor-Davis and TJ Tampa play

both of them can’t possibly be worse than Stephens

the focus this offseason needs to be on improving in the trenches on both sides of the ball

we have other needs like safety, pass rusher, and a 3rd WR but the main focus should be on getting better in the trenches

yeah, I figured y’all wouldn’t care for this type of trade. I don’t know. I think it would be a perfect fit but anyways as far as it taking more than a first round thick, I don’t think so

add the fact he’s about to get his first major contract shouldn’t really matter because over the next several years the salary cap is supposed to explode like last season

he made a couple of statements that didn’t sit well with the organization and then supposedly tweeted that he’s not gonna recruit any players because some fans were asking him about T Higgins

add the fact, this current season the fan base in New York has been really harsh on him and especially the sports New York media

corner just isn’t a big need for us

We just drafted one in the 1st round last year and have a couple day 2 picks rotting on the bench waiting for their shot to play

plus Sauce not a playmaker and thats what we really need on defense

now if you said Stingley that would be a different story :heh:

Yeah I just read that in their 9 playoff wins from 2008-12 the defense forced 31 turnovers. That’s what they need to focus on. Improve pass protection and force turnovers. Found this in a column in the Russell street report.
