But that's how we won in 2012 and had playoff success. That's the harbs winning formula that the QB needs to hold it down. Lamar has the big contract so little to no excuses.
Hell, that's how Jayden Daniels is winning down the parkway in these playoffs. QB damn near mistake free is how a lot of teams get it done. Turnovers can be costly and QBs and RBs shouldn't mess up in that department.
You can guarantee the Superbowl teams will have played essentially clean at QB and RB. People knock Jaylen Hurts...but he's managing the game with ball out of harms way and coaching can scheme AJ touches since hurts doesn't always throw those 50/50 balls.

Romnie the only guy worth bringing back and im not even sure we should bring him back
i think we need to be aggressive this offseason and get some new core players in here
Im tired of all of our highest paid players not showing up in big games
we put most of our resources in the defense and every year they have zero sacks and zero turnovers when we lose
Its time for major changes on that side of the ball
We need some playmakers on defense
I like the core on offense just get better guards and some receiver depth and we’re fine on that side of the ball(Andrews still gotta go)
I would like to see us go all in on offense for once in the offseason
putting all the money in the defense obviously is working
Offense could really be unstoppable next year if they improve the line and add a couple good receivers
we shouldn’t be depending on practice squad guys(Anthony Miller) and guys we just signed 2 weeks ago(Sims) in playoff games

I still dont understand wtf Andrews was thinking on this play
he couldve easily just turned up field and got an extra 5-7 yards and had a 1st down at the Bills 35 but for some reason he tries to be Zay Flowers and blew the game smh

Mahomes defense has 21 turnovers in 19 playoff games
Josh Allens defense has 13 turnovers in 11 playoff games
Burrows defense has 13 turnovers in 7 playoff games
Lamars defense has 1 turnover in 8 playoff games
our only turnover during the Lamar era was a Marcus Peters pick in 2020 to seal the game against the Titans
these nikkas dont turn the ball over or get sacks in the playoffs
why put all our money in the defense for them to not make plays when it counts

Glad people are realizing we lack defensive playmakers in the playoffs when it counts.
I miss having playmakers at every level like during the Ray Lewis era. We have had solid defenses that gives us a chance to win with better QB play (it is what it is), but no tide changers in the playoffs that can get an extra possession or even win a game.
Can’t get turnovers and our highly ranked run defense couldn’t stop the bills on the ground when needed.

It’s a huge issue. Lamar every drive has to go 75+ yards to get 6 in the postseason. 1 takeaway in 8 playoff games is so bad it almost looks like a fake stat. Combine it with one of the skill positions every playoff game making some game changing error of his own or just the receivers dropping a ton of passes, and Lamar basically has to be Steve Young in Super Bowl 29 or Aaron Rodgers in Super Bowl 45 in most playoff games for the team to win.
Meanwhile as I mentioned in other threads, we’ve seen playoff games this millennium where the quarterback won while going 12-25 for 150 yards (Dilfer in Super Bowl 35), 13-23 for 141 yards & 1 pick (Manning in Super Bowl 50), 4-10 for 34 yards & 1 pick (Flacco in the 2009 wild card game), & 9-21 for 123 yards and 2 picks (Big Ben in Super Bowl 40), 15-30 for 170 yards with 2 picks (Manning in the 2006 divisional round), 22-36 for 239 yards & 2 picks (Brady in the 2011 afc title game). They have to fix this.
3 short yardage touchdowns allowed last night. I don’t think I saw more than a handful of blitzes up the middle all game.
This is the big issue in the Lamar era. Nobody else has stepped up to win a game besides Henry vs the Steelers last week during the playoffs.

im ready to just blow it up on defense
we can get out of a couple of those contracts this offseason
we'll get 12 mill in cap space when we cut Marcus Williams and could get another 18 mill cap space by trading Marlon
thats 30 mill of cap space created by getting rid of 2 players
they can use that money to get some legit starting guards and a 3rd WR
we only have to deal with Roquons contract for 1 more year before we can move on from him
they need to get rid of all the vets on defense and start fresh
we should have more than enough cap space this year to make major moves if they start getting rid of alot of these high paid players who dont show up in big games
Next season is the last time we'll have any cap space. Need to keep money for Hamilton and Linderbaum.
Out of that list I'd keep Ronnie, Ar'Darius, probably Ricard and if they're super cheap, maybe Board or Harrison.

Ar'Darius is a restricted free agent so hes not going anywhere
im 50/50 on Ronnie
resign him if you can do it for cheap but I wouldnt pay him anywhere near top dollar
2 years 18 mill is the most I'd offer him
let Ricard walk, its time to move on from the Greg Roman stuff we still run and embrace becoming a spread team

However, this is the Ravens fault. They should have never been in Buffalo. You don't lose to Browns, Raiders and lose to a Steelers team that didn't score a TD. All three games were examples of if they just ran the ball more they would have had the 2 seed.
I excused it cause I thought they were saving Henry some games for the playoffs. Inexcusable to run him 25 times today. Inexcusable you didnt follow last games script of Lamar running double digit times. Just a shame.
