I'm not drinking purple Kool aid and I sincerely believe the Ravens were going to pick McDuffie at 23 until the Chiefs jumped them...
However, I think Linderbaum was the safe pick. I think he's going to be an all pro at some point...yes I really believe that.
My hope is that his smarts and experience solidify the entire interior oline for years to come. He'll be able to assist the guards in tough DT match ups while also being able to recognize what the defenses are trying to do to generate interior pressure.
Hamilton was the BPA...plan and simple. My hope is that they use him as a Swiss army knife. Run more nickle defenses this year and use Hamilton to cover TEs, RBs and slot receivers since they don't have any coverage LBs. Use him as the box strong safety to produce more pressure. Hamilton should be used to compliment the defense initially, not a means to an end of Chuck Clark. However, if Hamilton is making plays and effecting turnovers, Clark gotta go at some point. I don't want to minimize what Clark does from a leadership and smarts perspective, but Hamilton has a higher ceiling and we know Clark's playmaking abilities are minimal.
