Huntley gonna get him a nice contract this offseason.

Harbaugh's decisions cost probably one of the two last games probably, too. It is what it is.

Season is over. Lets just pay Lamar in the offseason, and get a some pass rushers and o-line men. Hopefully everyone with season ending injuries heals up.

He's an exclusive rights RFA. He can't sign with anyone but the Ravens. The only way he leaves is through trade.

What round draft pick you think they'll ask for as the minimum for Huntley?

I'm thinking a 3rd round. I'm pretty sure that if someone offers up what the Ravens are asking for Huntley, and the Ravens decline, they have to pay Huntley a 3rd, 4th or whatever round salary for that season.

Basically, they'd have to pretend like Huntley was drafted in the 3rd, 4th or whatever round and pay him that salary for his specific position.

Oh, and if someone doesn't offer what the Ravens are asking for, I think they have to pay him that salary anyway.

It would be easy for the Ravens or any team to tender a 1st or 2nd round for their RFA players, but its a gamble that could screw them if no one offers that for the RFA.

Anyone know otherwise on the RFA rules? I think that's basically how it goes.

I honestly don't want him traded just yet. So far he's been one of the best backups we ever had, and the team is still competitive and watchable with him playing.

Although for Huntley's sake, I think he would do well with the Saints and Sean Payton.
