Because it extends the game all the momentum was on Baltimore's side and the Packers defense was ass. You put all your chips into one play and if it doesn't go right you lose that's not how you play. Baltimore probably beats them in OT
With that Swiss cheese secondary you only want to have stop Rodgers once for the W. You kick it, you still gotta stop him to force OT and possibly stop him a second time IN OT if you don’t get the coin toss. And you also gotta score again on offense.

I’d rather try to get the 2 yards and decide it in regulation

now for the one against Pittsburgh I can see because it’s a lesser QB

You have no idea how the OT would play out, that's partially the point. You're assuming Baltimore's offense would dominate with no consideration given to how Green Bay's offense might operate in OT. Who's to say Baltimore's offense even gets a possession in OT?

My point is that there is a risk of losing involved in opting to go into OT that never gets discussed when a team opts to attempt to win in regulation. It's always assumed that you're chances of winning are greater in OT than successfully converting on one play.

2 tries and 2 losses tells me its not working

This is a fair sentiment given the previous failure. I'm just arguing that the knee jerk assumption is that the right move is always going into OT, as if simply taking the game into OT means you win the game.

Going into OT just means the game goes into OT.

Even if you get the 2 pt conversion you give Rodgers 4 downs instead of 3 to get a field goal. Harbaugh is basically a smart dumb nikka at heart

Welp I knew they would lose but the fact they got this close with what they got says something. But if Harbaugh went for that 3 pt in the 1st quarter they would’ve won

Plus you got the best kicker in the L. You gotta trust your defense in OT to stop Rodgers at least once or at least hold em to 3.
