Mayne, stopped watching around 5 minutes mark in the 4th, kinda felt the Raiders were going to pull it off and didn't want to go to sleep pissed.
That OT ending though, seems like how the rest of the season might go
Was expecting this season to be rough with all the injuries but team was more competitive than I thought, but it seems like all of the fixable problems are still there.
Right side of the oline looks washed, going to have a hard time getting Lamar to progress as a passer if the pocket collapses right after a 6 step drop. Roman and the offensive coaches have to be aware of this as well, so why aren't we running more short/screen style play design consistently? Saw a little of it yesterday but the play-calling just reverts back to that 5 out with the WRs just running whatever (lol when we have no WR depth). Also, Lamar has to hit those guys better when it's there and cut down on the fumbles, I can see this being a consistent issue if the pass blocking continues to be porous.
Why did we get away from running the ball downhill with Ty'son? If were going to continue to be generic with the play calling might as well continue to run the ball when the Raiders had issues with stopping it.
And Wink being Wink.
, I've given up on him not blitzing every play at this point. I honestly think we somewhat got lucky defensively in the 1st half since Carr was trying to force it to Waller on every play.
Sammy looks like a good signing though.
