He's a dog. I wish they would've taken someone else last year in the first round, so Harrison could get more playing time. I think Harrison fits their scheme better and against Chubb, Hunt and sometimes Henry, you need a MLB that can do what he can.

He's definitely our down hill thumper. He can also cover as well (underrated part of his game). He's my breakout candidate for this year. With more playing time he should be ready to take over for LJ, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Also, we have a shyt ton of vets leaving or potentially leaving after this year. Guys like LJ, Pernell, BWill, Calais, Jelly, Ricard, Gus, Tavon, Bozeman, Board, Richards, Levine, Elliot, and Jimmy (off the top of my head). This team is about to be very young across the board. It really puts into perspective upcoming contracts (Lamar and Mark) and DeCosta's want for about 20 draft picks between this year and next.

Edit - Throw in Sammy and Chuck too. They have outs after this year

Do they need to bring in Houston, Ingram, Kerrigan or a combination of them to rush the passer or do yall think they should let Bowser, McPhee, Ferguson, Oweh and Hayes cook for a lil bit?

Personally, I'd bring in Houston and Kerrigan. Ingram got injured last season if memory serves me right, he's never had to be the only pass rusher offenses had to worry about.

Houston was the guy in KC and Indy and still was putting up numbers. Kerrigan is a play maker and was doing it in Washington when they had Orakpo and even after he left.

I think if one of those pass rushers gets hurt, the Ravens are signing Houston. Don't know if they'll bring in Kerrigan or Ingram too.
Kerrigan to PHI.

Half-joking, but I wouldn't put it past the Browns to sign Houston just to screw us over.

Ughhhhhh, I really wanted him

I have been on the Kerrigan train from day 1, but I would like to see them roll with what they have first. Just to see if the guys from last year have improved. Im a big fan of Harrison and think is is going to make a jump.

Sadly, you're right. If the Ravens don't win a SB this year, they won't be contending for another one for the next 2-3 years, and that's IF the draft picks turn out to be dogs.

2019 was the year they should've won and 2020 should've been a repeat or atleast an AFC championship game.

They've just seemed to come up a hair short when it really mattered.

The Ravens seem more confident in Wink's scheme than bringing in a legit pass rusher. They may not bring in Houston, Ingram, Vernon or Griffen.

I also take that to mean that they'll be adding someone like Ar'Darius to the secondary because of his ball skills, instincts and coverage abilities.

I get what Wink is saying even though I dont 100% agree

you can scheme up a pass rush but you cant scheme up coverage ability

its either a guy can cover or he cant

personally i believe great pass rush/average secondary>>>>average pass rush/great secondary but having a bad secondary will hurt you way more than having a bad pass rush

He def need to approach Mahomes different week 2. All those fancy blitzes last year didn't do shyt, but embarrass the defense.

exactly without a pass rush we all know the outcome of this team tampa bay is prime example of how you beat pat you unleash those dogs on the d line and let them hunt and don't over think the game trying to be fancy like you said keep it simple
