its a good deal and when healthy hes the best cover corner on the team

deal is really for 2.5 mill and the other 2.5 mill is playing time bonuses

I like it cause this opens the door for us to trade Peters in the offseason and they'll probably draft a corner to groom for the #2 CB spot

Thing is, injury prone players like him and Tavon Young end up taking up roster spots, that's why our CB depth is ALWAYS so thin, because those two guys are always gone.

I still think he's worth it even if he only plays 10 games a season. I get the point about CB depth but you can see with Averett that even if he has a good game he can't be counted on, especially covering a competent WR for a whole game. Jimmy had been locking down WR3s and WR4s all season
