Lowkey im happy the Ravens backed out of this deal but they gotta be careful doing this shyt

Brockers and his agent wont make a big deal of this since the Rams gave him the same 3 year 30 mill deal an hour later but when we did this to that WR 2 years ago he got fukked out of alot of money

Hopefully we go after Clowney now that we have a little extra cap soace now

signing Clowney and trading Judon for a 2nd would be ideal

I think Brockers would've changed the tone of the d-line. I'm not happy this fell through. Anyway, the priorities for the draft have to include an active IDL that can rush the passer and doesn't lose ground in the running game. Suh would've been a perfect candidate, but he already resigned with the Bucs. I guess another option could be Jernigan, but he's not a dominant run defender and I don't think Harbaugh would like him back. I'm sure they traded him for a reason.

I think they should target Blacklock from TCU or Madubuike from Texas A&M with one of their 2nds. Both can play anywhere on the d-line, are dominant in run defense and provide consistent pass rush.

They should still target an OLB with their first, but if they go IDL with one of their 2nds, that means they're really going to have to wait to get their WR to compliment Hollywood because I don't think they can neglect the MLB position again. Queen and Murray will most likely be gone, so they're gonna have to get Willie Gay from Miss. State or Jordyn Brooks from Texas A&M with their second 2nd.

A lot of scenarios to watch. This will be an interesting draft for the Ravens.

I like this alot more than the Brockers deal

way better pass rusher and cheaper

After looking at Wolfe's stats against Brockers, Wolfe does have more sacks. He's a year older and is coming off his best season as a pass rusher. I'm curious to know why he was still available and why so cheap? Injury history? Taking plays off? I'm not really sure why he's not demanding more money.

He's (relatively) old and missed a lot of games over his career but for that price at last year's production I can't be mad at it.

Wonder if we have enough for a low-level signing or two now. Maybe we can at least bring McPhee back.

agreed brockers stats comes from Donald getting all the attention, and U like this move also because we’re getting more bang for the buck, edc needs to address the de, ilb position asap I rather get serviceable vets at those positions on defense

So yall really not going to address the WR spot :patrice:

I'm thinking they're going to try to get one of these guys: Higgins, Peoples-Jones, Pittman Jr. if they fall close to them at 55/60 or they're going to get Claypool at 106.

With that said though, I expect they will still give Boykin the chance to prove his worth. However, if he's not getting separation, dropping passes and/or not getting any YAC yards, they'll let their rookie selection get some time.

I don't know why they aren't giving Jaleel Scott more opportunities and I suspect he'll begin training camp on the bubble. He may not even make the team this year.

I remember a conversation that Harbaugh was having with a member of the media and than EDC pretty much repeated the same thing regarding a "certain type of receiver." They either have a specific guy in mind or a specific type of receiver in mind. I could be wrong, but I think they want a big body possession receiver that can create some separation. Plus, last year, they expressed interest in Dez Bryant. I don't think he was ever known for his speed.

They have elite speed in Hollywood, but GRO offenses are best when the running game is going. IMO, if they go for speed again, they might be screwing themselves out of some of those bigger runs because those speedy dudes either don't like to block or can't hold their blocks as long because they're typically smaller.
