Might as well...the #MVP put in heavy work at Petco tonite: 4-5, 3 HR's (first 3 HR game of his career, and ever at Petco), 3B, 6 RBI's 15 total bases (Brewer record)

Came up in the 9th with 2 on with a chance for his 4th HR, and had to settle for a 2-run triple.

Yeah, looks like Yu adjusted himself rather quickly. He's been fukking nasty lately after that shaky first start.

But, as it turns out, hitting three home runs and a triple in one game is more rare than hitting four homers. ESPN Stats and Info reports that only one other player since 1950 had put together that combination -- Boston's Fred Lynn in 1975.

Since 1920, in what is called the "Live Ball Era," only four others compiled three homers and a triple in one game -- the New York Giants' Wes Westrum in 1950, Cleveland's Pat Seerey in 1945, the Yankees' Tony Lazzeri in 1936, and the Boston Braves' Les Bell in 1928.

By contrast, 10 players have hit four home runs in a game since 1950, including LA's Shawn Green against the Brewers at Miller Park in 2002. The last to accomplish that feat was Toronto's Carlos Delgado in 2003.

I wont let myself get too excited b/c Hideo Nomo was pretty good too in the beginning.

But I will say Yu seems to have a good hang of things right now, and Mike Maddux is a great coach.
