Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
His scoring has only gone down because he has taken less shots - an adjustment by design to balance out the offense. How can you say his game doesn't apply pressure to the defense when he's an elite perimeter threat and has been a 'top 10 scorer' over the last four seasons? The same level of reasoning can be applied to Tyreke who takes NOTHING but shots at the rim and is basically ineffectively everywhere else:

His scoring has gone down not by design, but because his teammates are better and nobody is going to win games with Danny Granger putting up 20 shots a night. His efficiency has gone down as well as his FG%, usually when you get better teammates you'd expect a player to become more efficient and shoot better, but he hasn't. As for Evans taking shots at the rim, that is exactly what the Pacers need, they straight up do not have a single player that can break people down off the bounce consistently.

Evans -

3-9ft = 34%
10-15ft = 25%
16-3pt = 31%
3pt = 20%

Granger -

3-9ft = 40%
10-15ft = 37%
16-3pt = 37%
3pt = 37%

How can you say he doesn't apply pressure to the defense when Tyreke's %s are more likely to cause a defensive trickle-down effect?

Here's a more telling comparison -

82games.com (Last year)
48% of Evans shots come from inside the paint, he makes 62% of them and is assisted on only 35% of them. He scored 8.6ppg last year in the lane.

23% of Grangers shots came from inside the paint, he made 57% of them and 48% of them were assisted for 3.9ppg.

And if you compare them even further, Evans is assisted on only 35% of his shots last year where as Danny was at 57%. Give me the guy that is baking dudes off the dribble over the guy who is just taking a gang of jumpers when you already have a guy who has a similar game, Granger's shot stats from last season and Paul Georges are almost identical by the way.

Danny Granger of the Indiana Pacers, NBA player stats
Paul George of the Indiana Pacers, NBA player stats

If you wanna go the direction of building for the future, then expiring-cap and picks would be a better avenue to go down. Not gambling on a player who's inabilites have got him doing the hokey pokey in the backcourt; in hopes of rectifying his game, which may never eventuate to the level they need (he hasn't shown any progression in 3 seasons), in order for them to compete. I don't see George taking a backseat, certainly not initially anyway. I see a even futher breakdown of a balanced offense with Hill being the only player to have a significant drop in FGA - with more focus on distribution and less focus on finding his own shot.

I'll take the player who's a proven experienced scorer and who can be a threat from all areas on the floor (not just at the rim).

Gambling is what separates good teams from bad, and Evans is due for an extension so if he doesn't work out you let him walk. Where as if you don't move Granger soon, his value will drop because his production will go down IF the Pacers let George run the show. They are not going to win a title with Granger, he is not that dude and his game is just "eh". Atleast with Evans, you have room for growth and I think he can still become a quality SG despite his shytty jumper, it's all about placing him with a team where his skillset can be maximized and I think the Pacers have a roster for him to do that.

Yo @Malta have you been following Tristan lately?

He has improved dramatically.

Celtics Making Pierce Available In Trade Talks

The Boston Celtics have made it known in exploratory trade talks with other other teams that Paul Pierce could be available via trade, according to team executives around the league.

Only $4 million of Pierce’s $15.3 million salary is guaranteed next season.

:leon: I really do think that the C's are gonna trade Pierce for Rudy Gay if they can't get a big man like Gortat or Varejo. Everything seems to point to that happening. But, I think the Grizz would be the real winners out of the trade if they can get Piru P.

Negativity (Kayfabe)
I'm not feelin' this disrespect Boston has been showing their players, over the years

Every member of the "Big 4" cept KG, been in trade talks

Do they forget the years between healthy Larry Bird and the Boston Three Party?

George Karl wouldn't be surprised to see LeBron return to Cleveland because he likes challenges/playing with Irving

"I think LeBron is at that stage where he's challenging himself to motivate him to do something that's maybe more difficult. I could see him maybe doing (returning to the Cavaliers),'' Karl said. "I see (Kyrie) Irving maybe being a reason for that.''

Irving, 20, is a rising star and has a good relationship with James. The two have known each other since James took Irving under his wing when the point guard was 15. about 2 hours ago

Fcku you George Karl :ufdup:
