I had a dream that inspired me to drop this type of thread....
Remember during the East/West beef or in general where the consensus was that southern rappers couldn't hang on the mic with the yawkers. From Outkast getting booed during the Source Awards, to the whole vibe in the early to mid 2000s of east coast rappers shytting on the south (despite jocking their steez in the end). But here is the thread dedicated to southern rappers bringing the essence of hip hop with their own twang to the gumbo:
