:smh:

It happened on every TGIF show except for maybe "Hangin with Mr Cooper"

But, Full House, Family Matters, Step By Step all had it in 95% of the episodes.

Every time the episode got down towards the end and the "lesson" was being learned it was always the same sad music.

Example:

Carl: Edward, son....come here :beli:
(minor strings start playing lightly)

Edward: Ok, dad.

(Carl rambles on for a min, then....)
Carol: Son, your mother and I love you, more than anything (sad strings get really heavy) in the world....and we work hard to make sure we raised you in a safe environment.

Eddie:

(Carl rambles on a little more)

Eddie: You're right dad, I'm sorry. I know I was wrong now, I'm gonna make sure to stay away from those guys. (strings lightens up a bit, an few ascending acoustic guitar licks play)

Carl: Well Edward, no need to fret...tell you what next wknd you and I are gonna go fishing and have father/son bond time!

(entire orchestra of happiness starts playing as they fade to black)

Use the same scenario on Full House anytime Danny Tanner wanted to teach DJ/Stephanie a lesson. :snoop: Or any "Step by Step" episode where they had a family sit down.

Those moments always ended in a corny joke. Especially on Full House.

LOL....I remember when someone on SOHH went in on this during a Family Matters thread

Carl: "Eddie.....come here son. Look....I know sometimes I might seem hard on you. But you have to understand that's only because I want what's best for you. I love you, son."

Eddie: "....I know, dad. I'm sorry. And I love you too."

(they hug; audience claps)

Eddie: "Hey....I wonder if Steve found Waldo yet?"

Carl: "I dunno. Waldo's been sleepwalking for weeks now. There's no telling where he ended up this time."

(goes to shot of Waldo waking up on top of the Winslows' roof)

Waldo: (looks down over edge of roof) "OH NO! I'm 20 feet tall!!"

(audience laughs)

I kinda regret not giving that show a chance....might watch it someday :yeshrug:

I only remember one episode of that I caught....something where he promised a Boyz 2 Men concert, and him and 3 other lil nyggas tried to perform in their place. The crowd booed and he was like "Yo wassup....you wanted Boyz 2 Men, we got boys and we got men, what's the problem"

yeah the first season was real good, then they switched it up a little with the second season and introduced some other family memebers and it kinda dipped but it still for the most part remained a good show.

this scenario, out of context, with an entire episodes plot put in to it with only the ending = funnier than the actual Family Matters episode
