That Nakamura segment with Dolph was just cringing

The masterminds at Titan are literally trying to sabotage dude's character before it gets a chance to even flourish. Him not cutting long wind promos was his main appeal and it created a form of mystique.



Now he's just like any normal guy on the roster. I mean why not give him a interpreter? Great Muta is one of the G.O.A.T.s and he never cut any promos

He's just really limited. The internet already likes him which is one part of the battle but the english thing isn't helping.

He can speak English well enough (Enough to do the short and sweet promos that most of their Big Push guys are doing now), the mouth peace in addition to his accent just really fukks up the enunciation.

Aside from that, the main reason this failed was because they were trying to have Dolph (who's best promos are him coming off as the "impassioned" babyface) be Miz/Heel Jericho Lite. He doesn't have the promo chops to be that kind of heel.

Two things.

1. Dolph in 2017 is a horrible heel, just absolutely horrible, he can't talk on the mic, his delivery is trash, plus the writers are at fault too for that awkward Michael Jackson part of the promo

2. Shinsuke is not that great of a talker so no need for 10 minute promos because all they're doing is exposing him, short but sweet promos is the way to go for him.

They did really well building up his mystique the last few weeks... only to throw it all away by having Ziggler call him Michael Jackson for 5 minutes.

That 'Artist Known As' garbage can get the bushes too. Embarrassing.

Nakamura is not a talker (in English) at least not for long segments. It's almost like they want him to learn "the hard way". He'd do much better doing pre recorded segments

Now ziggler has no excuse for that terrible promo been in the game too long to think that joke would've popped the crowd

Nakamura should've just cut him off after 10 seconds with a kick to the face and just said "that joke sssucked" lol
