Kinda inspired by an @itsyoung!! post in the Mr. Robot thread, I'm wondering if you brehs can remember the exact moment a tv show grabbed you and you were in.

Like, some shows drag and you just sit there:francis: waiting for somethin to catch you, but it never does. Then, other times, you've got a :gladbron: or :whoo: spot, and they got you.

For ex: @itsyoung!! mentioned he was hooked from the very beginning of Breaking Bad, but for me, my moment was this scene...

:wow:

The wire when I Wallace had the ai cornrows. They was popular and I was in jr high school. They was cussin and talking like us on television kinda blew my mind at 11. Pretty dope.

It reminds me of how on nickelodeon. Kids dream or are living that life going to the movies and drinking grape soda. We was wearing basketball jerseys doing shyt was supposed to like ppl on the wire

I got hooked on Sopranos after watching a random episode, but what hooked me was the scenes with Dr. Melfi. Them scene's alone made me want to watch the show so I went and bought season 1.

Lost got me hooked from the jump, seeing a plane crash and survivors walking around without any bruises on a remote Island. I was hooked after that 2 part pilot.

Same thing for me and Lost, breh. Had me the moment Jack spots the crash site, with that annoying bytch screaming non-stop.

the Locke moment in episode 4 of lost (if you've seen lost you know what I'm talking about) was the most moving thing I have ever witnessed. so powerful. will never forget that.

I was always big into mafia piff, so I was gonna be an easy sell either way, but the moment Sopranos got me:

Pilot episode, Tony goes to this Italian restaurant with one of his Russian side pieces, the owner greets him at the door. Very next night, Tony goes with Carmela to the same restaurant, and the owner greets him at the door again with: "Mr Soprano, buona sera. Months we don't see you. Where you been?" :lolbron:

Was immediately IN for the fukkery. :banderas:
