Love it. Its 2012. None of that mid 90s - early 00s big budget videos throwin sand in our eyes with all of that high production smoke n mirrors, only to be played on select radio and tv stations for them industry friendly idiots, both in "commercial" hip-hop and in the "oh we aint commercial but we got videos and get airplay, only to get out non-commercial MESSAGE out there" genre.

:beli:

TROLL RAP is king. It shows how audiences are easily manipulated, how music is trivial as fukk, and how none of that old ass shyt those rockin-chair hip-hop gatekeepers try to impose on the youngns today is actually any more real than the shyt those youngns are listenin now.

Thank god for Waka, Lil B, RiFF RAFF, all of them mother-fukkers, they bring the REAL realness in the rap game, they bring the theater without smoke, without mirrors. Just fun n games, what music is actually supposed to be.

If you're lookin for messages in hip-hop music, I would recommend a single bullet down your throat delivered by Pfeifer Zeliska 28mm.

The only "message" I ever got and applied to my life from hip-hop is Ali's line from Boughetto

"Im throwin thrash outta Benz on the highway"

Every fukkin time I chuck some soda can or some grocery bag thrash outta the window of my whip when I drive, I remember that line.
