He went to two title games in 10 years. A lot of good coaches would love to have that on their resume. Really good coach but I think its time he stepped down. Lot of talent and money going to waste over the last 3 years

the time has passed these old archaic guys like mack brown and frank beamer, they are just figureheads at the moment, old dogs that need to be put down.

think of all the young gifted minds out there in college football who texas could have, or have got a chip kelly, a dana holgerson, a muschamp, a kevin sumlin, a lane kiffin etc. The only old coach really doing anything is bill stewart.

hell major applewhite could prob coach this team better, west virginia was smart, they had conservative old hand bill stewart, he won a fiesta bowl was getting 9 wins a year and they replaced him with dana holgerson and now look. Same with florida state bobby bowden was old and falling off bring in jimbo fish as coach in waiting and then bobby was basically forced to retire.

he doesn't even coach anymore. he's a ceo, recruiter, spokesperson, etc...

i guarantee you he has nothing to do with gameplanning anymore. he's specialty is being a class act. that's it. but that gets him a long way with these conservatives down here.
