So doc told me I had tendinitis (upper bicep that connects to my shoulder). Gave me some ibprophen and told me to not work out for a month but I need to do something brehs. What can I do besides jogging and cycling that won't add to the situation?

Your not going to want to hear it but rest is imperative.

Stretching helps GREATLY (trust me I swear I can get any inflamed tendon anywhere)

Icing can help too.

Maybe even look into topical creams.

If you haven't already, I'd google some exercises that help strengthen that tendon. And look up stretches for that tendon also.

also, these things tend to happen when we over work the large group of muscles and the large muscles get too tight and pull too hard on the tendons that connect the muscle to the bone.

Keep that in mind when you do start to work out, as youll likely need to stretch that area more and warm up more to prevent it from happening again.

Once a tendon gets inflamed, the likely hood of it happening again is high.

I've had knee tendinitis since September because I never let it heal.
Tendinitis in both achilles since April.
I dont let them heal so they linger. If you want yours to heal, rest it

I have deadly Tendinitis in my knees, right one is crazy. I did rest, took LONG breaks, and PRP injections. Your best bet is just follow directions of your health care provider.
