Andionte Marquarius Mood, 25, of Voyager Road, is charged with one count each of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Warrants claim Mood asked the 61-year-old for money just after 2 p.m. March 4.

The 61-year-old declined, saying that the money was needed to pay the electric bill.
The 61-year-old sat down to eat at the kitchen table when Mood allegedly stabbed him in the lower right leg and lower right side of his back, an incident report said.

The injured man retreated to a neighbor’s house where he was able to call for help.

Deputies located Mood walking a few blocks away.
Orangeburg County EMS took the injured man to the hospital.
Deputies took Mood to the Orangeburg County Detention Center.
Orangeburg County Magistrate Valerie Lawrence set Mood’s bond at $30,000. As of Friday afternoon, he’d not yet posted bond
