I've only ever played this on Sega Genesis. I didn't know it was missing so much stuff.

This game is so ripe for a remake. Make it 3 players online. But all in all it was an amazing game. Played in Arcades and the Super Nintendo Version was a good port.

I grew up with the Genesis version in the 90s. Game is an absolute classic; the soundtrack is phenomenal. I'm probably biased because I played the genesis version first, but... I thought the SNES version was cool, just not as good as the Genesis one. SNES version just feels off to me, even with the extra two characters and the extra/different stages. I believe the Genesis one had a better stage flow and felt more streamlined. I think the genesis one looked more gritty too.

Bought the Arcade/SNES version on Switch for a flight to Mexico a couple of months ago and I still feel the same way. Genesis version all day.
