movie had some piff but ultimately they went too hard for the teen audience and casey jones/april were horribly miscast in this franchise. Crazy that the 1990 PG rated TMNT film was darker and this was PG-13

It sounds like a third is in definite jeopardy.

Shut it down, give us another fresh reboot like Marvel's Spiderman. Accomplish that with getting both Eastman and Laird on as creative directors and use the old books / new IDWs and give the fans what they want.

Trying to sell action figures to kids off of these is strange in 2017. Especially considering the generation that really grew up playing with action figures are now grown up in their late 20's - 30's and we are the ones that want a gritty 1991 style reboot.
