BUFFALO, NY-- A teen convicted for his role in setting fire to a puppy is in trouble with the law again.

Buffalo Police have charged Diondre Brown, 18, with robberies around Canisius College recently.

Buffalo Police Commissioner Daniel Derenda says the robberies occured Saturday around 2am. Derenda says a female was assaulted, knocked down and threatened with a gun.

Brown was arraigned in Buffalo City Court Thursday afternoon.

He had been sentenced to six months in jail and five years probation in May after he was convicted for his role in setting fire to a Jack Russell Terrier last year.
