These tech bros call their movement the "dark enlightment" and it's behind a lot of the racism on social media.

That's because the US gov cant do much. The reality is that right wing billionaires used all of their tools and money to come up with a perfect strategy. They dont care. Andreesen himself said OUTLOUD that he's glad poor people dying of oxy and are consumed by TV/internet. As long as they keep their tech wealth its all that matters.
