That guy Dr. Colon is still pushing it that false narrative, just like Fat Joe.
Fat Joe recently lost a lot of weight so he gets a pass

Dr Colon in his interviews is trying to get OG Puerto Rican pioneers to change what they originally said years ago to fit his narratives but he's sh1t out of luck because what they originally said is on record!

and/or he's editing out sh1t they said that speaks to the real truth he wants to hide:russ: Ruby D (first latin mc) is even in the comment section making it clear that he didn't see any Latinos when he first got in the game in 1977

I don’t see how this is still a debate when early Latino/Caribbean artists themselves have said they didn’t create the art form.
Until all 8 billion people agree there's still a debate to be had

The vast majority of people do not think Latinos created Hip-Hop. When people think of Hip-Hop the group they associate with it are African Americans. If you are in a different country and someone hears your American accent they'll try to imitate some rapper when starting a conversation with you. Africans on the continent will name all Black American rappers they love and not one will mention any Latinos. When you get around white and other races of people here in America they'll break the ice by trying to tell you about the 90s Hip-Hop music they grew up to in order to impress you. None of these scenarios are happening to no damn Latinos. No serious people are having this discussion anywhere but in Tariqs cult.

This is actually not true. While they don't think "Latinos" (Ricans) created HipHop music, there is a widespread myth that they created Breakdancing. This talking point is no myth and there are numerous talking heads who have promoted this myth which we have seen through publications and documentaries.
